The Demolition Project is a collaboration between Debbie Kent and Alisa Oleva, based between London and Moscow. Our work explores ways of reimagining the city and our relationship with it, through maps, walking, metaphor and participation.
We began working together in London in May 2013, with a project of the same name, a participatory piece that invites people to reshape the city using basic tools – pens, paper, scalpels – and a giant map of the city. Now we’ve started exploring in other directions and other cities. >> Take a look at our Work to see what we’re doing, read our blog Tearing up the Map to find out what we’re interested in, or follow us on Facebook.
